New 8 Elle 18 Go Matte Crayon Lipsticks

Here is the latest launch by Elle 18 – Elle 18 Go Matte Crayon Lipsticks. This is the first range of lipsticks from Elle 18 I really liked in terms of texture, pigmentation, application and longevity. These crayon lipsticks could be compared with costly crayon lipsticks. Elle 18 Go Matte Crayon lipstick range really gives a nice competition to SUGAR Matte As Hell Crayon range, once I was obsessed with.

Elle 18 Go Matte Crayon

Get over lipsticks and move over to lip crayons with Go Matte Crayons. These super pigmented lipsticks come with smooth and soft texture. The crayons are carefully crafted to deliver a matte finish without drying out lips. The 8 shades are perfect match for all of the Indian skin tones. The colors are very playful and vibrant to cheer up your mood. The lipsticks contain mineral powders, jojoba and olive oil to give a beautiful formula and nourish your lips.

Price: Highly affordable at Rs. 110 for 2.2gm Buy at Amazon, Nykaa

Ingredients

Cocoa Butter, Olive Oil,Jojoba Oil, Color Pigments, Trioctyldodecyl Citrate

Shades:

01 Red Stay

A bright beautiful Red color with warm undertones to suit all skin types. This shade is very apt to achieve bold looks without going OTT. Just line your eyes and swipe this shade on your lips, and you are ready to conquer the world.

02 Rosy Label

This is an orange shade. The title might be be misleading. It is not that cold blooded orange but another warm shade. Highly suitable for Indian skin tones. Fair to medium skin tones would rock this shade.

03 Mauve Shot

A beautiful Mauve shade for you it is. It has got bit of cool undertones, but that’s how you achieve mauve lips anyway.

04 Peach Love

This is a beautiful Peach shade. Peach shades could be tricky as they could wash away your complexion. It is important to have a perfect mix of pink in the shade to rock the peachy look actually. I have medium skin tones, and this shade looks very beautiful on my skin tone.

05 Fuchsia Burst

Another bold shade from the Elle 18 Go Matte Crayon. This cool toned pink shade is very vibrant. I prefer this shade over mauve.

06 Shocking Pink

This is a warm shade. A Pink shade with reddish hues. It is wearable for all skin tones. May I mention it has bit of shimmer too.

07 Baked Blush

Another peach shade but with shimmers this time. Pinks are more dominating in this shade than the peachy ones. If you want to skip 04, you can try out 07 for nude lips.

08 Hyper Brown

The only brown shade in the range is this. This is actually another nude shade in the range. I don’t prefer using browns, but I like wearing Hyper Brown on my lips since it’s not overpowering.

Pigmentation & Texture

As I hinted above, the pigmentation of Elle 18 Go Matte Crayon lipsticks is highly appreciable. They go opaque in just one swipe. The pigmentation is build-able as the formula is very fine, smooth and soft. The touch ups look natural.

My lips don’t dry up. I find the formula is more moisturizing and lightweight than the SUGAR Matte As Hell range.

Finish & Longevity

The crayons give complete matte finish. The finish looks very natural and is very comfortable to wear all day long. Speaking of longevity, the crayons go for 3-4 hours if you follow the swipe-blot-swipe technique.
