New Year, New You: Skincare

Not just because it's a new year, but the middle of winter is a perfect time to revisit the skincare regimen. Every complexion needs a boost now and then, and it is a great time to see what can be added to your existing routine. Here are a few options that could leave your complexion with a whole new glow just from adding one or two new products.

  • A retinol can take your existing skincare products and boost them to the next level. Not only do retinols such as Kate Somerville RetAsphere™ Micro Peel or Philosophy Miracle Worker™ Miraculous Anti-Aging Retinoid Pads and Solution help smooth out uneven skin tone and skin texture, but it can also address fine lines and dullness.
  • If you are not currently using one, I highly recommend adding an eye cream to your routine no matter what your age. Which one depends on the primary concern that you intend to address. For dark circles and puffiness, a lighter weight product such as Fresh Black Tea Age-Delay Eye Concentrate usually works best. These cooling gels help reduce puffiness and black tea can address the dark circles. If fine lines and wrinkles are more of a concern, a moisturizing texture and consistency is best, such as Belif Peat Miracle Revital Eye Cream, to help plump up and hydrate the area.
  • One of the biggest trends lately is the facial oil. While some of them can be used in place of a normal moisturizer, they can also be layered with your existing products for an extra boost of radiance. Korres Wild Rose Vitamin C Active Brightening Oil is a delicious combination of wild rose oil and Vitamin C to help improve skin texture, skin radiance, dark spots, fine lines, and overall skin elasticity.
