PETA hosts 鈥淗ow to Make It within Vegan Fashion?/h2>

Did you know that one of the primary trends last year was planning vegan? That鈥檚 right, taking on a plant-based lifestyle is actually on the rise. And in addition towards a plant-based diet, people are finding creative alternatives to fur, leather, and other animal-derived components!

 

On January 17, PETA managed 鈥淗ow to Make It in Vegetarian Fashion? This panel including a runway show, put on at the Empathy Middle in Los Angeles, Florida. The event showcased animal-free style and fabrics using a discussion and clearly show. Actress Daniella Monet moderated the talk that included Leanne Mai-ly Hilgart of VAUTE, Morgan Bogle of Freedom involving Animals, Meg and Komie Vora of Delikate Rayne, Bianca Moran of SUSI School, and Stephanie Nicora of NICORA. Many people discussed why vegan fashion is an unbeatable trend and how manufacturers are finding ways to include things like vegan textiles in designs.

It excites me to see vegan way evolving into the luxury arena. As of now, vegan fashion is apparently a hit mainly with regards to street fashion. I鈥檓 specific however, that legitimate vegan luxury is on its way.

I鈥檓 thrilled about vegan textiles such as vegan leather that is created from cork, jute, and waxed organic cotton canvas. There are now wool-free knitted options that are crafted from sustainable materials for example bamboo, corn, olefin, along with soy silk. And in some cases traditional silk is replaced by bamboo, banana silk, hemp, jute, together with other natural, non-animals materials.

 

Peta talked about everything; serving superb vegan food for anyone, and the fabulous occasion even ended using a raffle – I ended up successful a pair of SUSI shoes!!!
